Everyone needs a good mystery every now and the, don't they? lol Nice pic....and I'd have to generally agree there are less "quality" or "intriguing" blogs on here than there use to be.

I know I used to blog so much more often than now. Finding the time to compose my thoughts and write out my experiences has been difficult for me over the last 7 or 8 months or so. I enjoy blogging, but I would rather have something of quality to blog about rather than some random thought. I enjoy your blogs to thank you for sharing. PLEASE COME AND CHECK OUT MY BLOG AND IF YOU ENJOYED IT LEAVE ME A COMMENT. KEEP IT SEXY!!

Some many more were into Blogging years ago. It's no longer what it once was. The numbers have dropped off. For me - I still enjoy writing my little script. ~Holly Atlantic City, NJ

What is your favorite part of being bent over?

There are less bloggers than when I started in 2014. Some were driven away by other bloggers. Also, not everyone seems to know about putting up a "first response" to get their posts up on the Recent Posts list. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

BendMeOver278 replies on 3/5/2018 3:10 pm: I don't remember that a comment was needed being a thing when I was blogging last. That was about four years ago.... I think Passion should make that a note somewhere so people are aware before posting. The first post thing is maybe a year ish old. A*F*F hasn't been good about telling people about changes. On the 1st comment thing- When that glitch was discovered, someone posted a 1st comment on their own blog, and it showed up on "The Most Recent Post" list which is where all the newest posts should show up. We complained, of course, and the site has been trying to address this issue for about 2 years now. There is no where for anyone to post that you need to make your own first comment, except on your own blog header, which of course, so many don't even read. In conclusion, making your own first comment makes your post show up on "most recent posts". As to the question of "was there more posts before", it is true there used to be more posted per day and it is now down. Perhaps noticing and your post will encourage more bloggers to post new posts, and encourage new bloggers to post more often. I took a break these past few months and posted about once a week. On Saturday, I posted twice (woot woot! but then again we had a bloggers bash in San Diego that I attended) and then three times today! Fuck. That is a lot for me, but when I was posting the most (during 2014/2015) I was posting sometimes twice a day. Now I want to post at least 3x a week. Right on, write on! kk The observant make the best lovers, I may not do right, but I do write, I have bliss, joy, and happiness in my life, Kitkat Come check out my blog KItkat1415 check out this post by me Adventures In Body Grooming #39 April Topic Link: What Lies Beneath If April Showers Oh Bloody Hell What Kind Of Weather Turns Me On Bloggers Symposium 40

As stated there has been a decline be it some left the sites in general, others were run off or some just got caught up in real life. There are those that mainly post pictures which I'm not complaining about at all but I do miss the stories and experiences.

I posted more erotic stories when I first started to blog here. My posts more recently have tended to be short. I love reading erotic stories posted by women. It is such a turn on to read about their desires and fantasies. Love the pic of you that came with this post. Very sexy!

As others have said, I think your perception is correct. I have been around here forever and I would say two thirds of my watch list hasn't posted for over a year. Many of them are no longer even on the site. Of course I should be seeking out new people to add, but the bloggers with something interesting to say are a needle in the haystack. I tend to notice bloggers by finding their comments on other people's posts interesting. So I would say that would be another tip for new bloggers who want to be noticed - read and comment on other folks' blogs posts.

As far as I can tell, blogs don't show up on the mobile version of the site, so that's probably one of the reasons.

Yeah, now that you mention it I kinda recall it is there for "anti-spam" purposes. And, now it don't do that no mo. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I still sometimes wonder what actually happened to certain bloggers that I used to watch. I still have them on my list in case they do come back. It is a mystery why some just leave without saying a word.

As far as I can tell, blogs don't show up on the mobile version of the site, so that's probably one of the reasons. Even people who know about the blogs, if they have switched to mostly using the site through their phones, may not know that it's possible to get to the blogs through the "Use full web version" link, so they don't bother to write any more. Also, when I was first a paying user, the site offered an extra six months for people who wrote to their blogs at least once a month, sent first-contact messages to at least a certain number of people per month, and logged on at least once a month. (That last was a rather silly condition, given that the first two were impossible without satisfying the latter.) I wrote to my blog at least every month to satisfy that, and scored the extra six months. Then I slacked off. Now, I write when I have something interesting to say. If I wrote about every good sexual encounter I had, I'd be writing a lot, but since a lot of my encounters follow pretty much the same general script, it would be repetitious to write every time. Plus, it would be embarrassing if people were to assume that I had a dry spell if I just took a break from writing, and worse if I took a break from writing because I actually did have a dry spell. So now I write when the script is different, or just when an encounter is too hot to resist writing about. It just so happens that I posted a new message today – Friday morning – about a particularly fun encounter on Friday. Another one that seemed to please a few readers was back in December – this afternoon – which follows a pretty similar encounter, but includes a small punch line that amused me when I wrote it. I didn't write at all in February; maybe I should try to stick with the goal of at least once a month again, even if it doesn't get me any bonus time.

I know that most folks are on mobile and don't see the blogs unless they actually go looking for it. I know that some of the female super bloggers left. And I know that with my new ID, I rose to the front page top bloggers a lot faster than before. So I didn't necessarily think so at first thought because I still saw familiar top bloggers, but I absolutely agree after thinking about it.

As a veteran blogger (9+ years) I can tell you that you are correct, the blogs are a hollowed out shadow of their former selves. Bloggers come and bloggers go, that has always been the case, but what's REALLY down is meaningful interaction, in the form of meaningful posts, and sincere thoughtful comments. I have noticed that the bloggers I follow are not as active as they have been, as I haven't been as active either. But I don't tend to look much at other bloggers other than the ones I follow but here and there. Now about those disappearing posts.... that sure is a mystery! Cheers! ?*

I agree with Camo, it seems that direct access to blogs is not available through the mobile version of the site and may deter some readers/writers. I can also say that I am picky about the content I follow. Currently I only follow one blog

I don’t write nearly as much as I could but I also have run out of ideas, I’ve been here a long time now. But the blog scene is nothing compared with what it once was and there’s very little interesting things to read now. Used to blog quite regularly, two or three times a week. But now I find I've nothing "interesting" to blog about. I know I was guilty of having a good moan about some of the features on the site but I can't always be bothered about that any more mainly cos nothing changes for the better. As mentioned by other bloggers, I think the standard of blogging has deteriorated significantly as have the numbers who blog. These days it just seems to be "Post of the Day #1" and then "Post of the Day #2" repeated ad nauseam by the same blogger. There appears to be competition to be top of the list. While I like to be on that list to remain visible to other members, I don't post inane drivel just for the sake of it. OK, that last point may be very subjective.
