Sorry you've been gone longer than you've liked and that you're dealing with more than you thought you would. I hope all gets better soon for you.

I am sure that R knows you're attracted to him with the little things you do even if it's not sex. Sometimes it's not all about sex, even though sex is extremely fun!

Best of luck for a speedy recovery from all that ails you.

Cheers! ?*

I've had medical stuff do that to me. Every once in a while, I'd jerk off just to make sure it all still worked. Pathetic, right? But it came back. I don't know your specifics, but you should bounce back.

My sympathies for your medical issues. My wife had a serious medical odyssey that started with a car crash about a half-year before we met, which is not completely over. Fortunately for both her and me, her medical issues have never adversely affected her libido or enjoyment of sex (except for a few weeks when penetrative sex was temporarily banned; then we made do with non-penetrative sex).

I've read that the medical profession in general has a long, unfortunate history of dismissing women's sexual health concerns. If you're having trouble with desire, try doctors, nurses, psychologists, maybe even alternative medicine.* If you're having trouble enjoying sex even though your desire is there, try doctors, nurses, and maybe psychologists. If you're experiencing discomfort from sex, see a doctor or nurse.

And if you don't get the right answer from whatever medical people you try, seek help from a different medical person. (Of course this runs into budget issues, so it may be unhelpful advice.)

* A lot of alternative medicine is quackery, but for a desire problem it might work even if the medical practice is dubious.

Can try a different medication, but don't pressure yourself to get back into the swing of things.

Goodness girl. So sorry to hear of your challenges. Hope things work out for you!

You're far to young to worry about having lost all interest in sex, in any long term sense, though I'm sure the recent situation is quite frustrating. The XLBF was just going through a similar situation recently too. She is 41 now, and I told her of the 71YO lady that recently proclaimed me her "preferred live sex toy". The XLBF declared this "reason to hope" (as far as sexual interests continuing with age) and hopefully you will see it that way too.

Sorry to hear that you've not been that great recently
I'm the same and even had cause for concern when I had a suspected mini-stroke very recently.

Sorry to read about your health issues Luv. Power of positive thinking can go a LOOONG way to help recovery. If you want to "get in the mood" I find that spending a little me time with a good story can do a lot for the libido.
