 Leather is good, in various forms...

Six feet of it, braided or woven, attached to a handle of similar length.
Nine thin, braided, foot-long strips, again attached to a handle.
Flat pieces of it, stiffened and shaped like a spoon head at one end.

 I love the feel and smell of leather. Many years ago I had a pic of me wearing only my leather jacket. I think it is long gone, but I remember the pic and the jacket.
