There was this
one moment
I had given up
I had lost faith
but her eyes
shined a light
that turned me around
she made me smile
she brightened
my cold rainy day
she helped me
move past
that one moment
of despair
she brought me
back to life
she held me
wouldn't let go
she whispered to me
I'm forever
