 Who knows why people act the way they do? Sorry this happened to you. I've gone even a few steps further - I met a couple of guys here (at different times, from different towns), but we got along GREAT! The sex was good, good conversation, flirty texts throughout the day, talking about what we wanted to do the next time we were together - you get the picture. And then - GHOSTED. One of the guys was married, but separated. He was a hoot!! He had some medical issues. Did he die??? Did he and his wife get back together? Did his phone break and he lost all contacts?? The other guy was single, maybe he found the woman of his dreams? Just tell me!!! Don't just disappear. How rude! Moving on....but still SMH.

 Something along that lines has happened to me as well on this website. 2 different times i had made plans to meet with someone only to not have them show up and then never answer any of my polite text messages on why they never showed. There are a lot of fakes and flakes and scammers and even some people with no class on here.

 I don't wanna keep writing blogs and stuff on negativity. But a verified (with real ID) couple (M/F) messaged me, wanted to chat via e-mail. Sounds like typical scam, but it's a verified couple. I was intrigued as I've never seen this.. particular scam, from a verified couple.

I give them an e-mail, they send the most generic opening line to me. They don't mention anything about citymixx.com. We go back and forth a lot, mostly me just playing along, but there are red flags about their behavior everywhere. They say they're not a couple's profile. They can't answer whether or not they actually want to meet me, but they do say "can you meet right now". They can't tell me what city they're in or which one I'm in, and their profile says they're a looong ways away from me.

I'm just replying back trying to figure out what their motive is. And they keep replying back, but with 1-liners, and I keep calling them out on their bullshit.

I dunno.. here's the thing, I know there are lots of real people on here (the communty and blogs prove it). But there are a lot of... fakes, not just flakes, but fakes. Like, I don't know what their actual goal is. Maybe I should play along a little more first, or something. Like, yeah there's a person behind that screen but I'm just genuinely curious what they're actually trying to do. I guess I'm OCD like that.
