The son's cat seldom comes out of his room, aside from going to use it's litter box. When it does venture out to do so, when she sees me she'll often scamper back to the safety of his room. So yesterday when I looked up from watching T.V. and noticed her sitting on the front hallway carpet licking her paws and meowing at me I knew something was amiss. Sure enough, my son had a friend in his room. No big deal, he's an adult. But puss was having none of it. She's rather standoffish, with people she knows, like me. My son and his friend were I assume getting down to the nitty gritty. Or so it looked when I passed his room to grab some tissues from the bathroom to blow my nose, and saw out of the corner of my eye. Him, nodding off wearing his robe, her with the covers pulled up to cover herself. I pretended not to notice. Jimmy crickets son, I don't mind if you bring women home...but you live with someone, Me. It's only polite to close the door. Especially since I haven't had the pleasure of having a friend over in years. I mean it's only fair, right? It seems like we'll have to set some ground rules down I guess? Like " When entertaining a "Friend" keep your door closed. either that or have her bring a "friend" for me to entertain. Yeah, like that would happen, not. Any who..time for me to shower....
