Often, the result of not paying attention to the slow deterioration in your own selections. Time to make a drastic change (towards self enlightenment) in what you find appealing with maybe why and the what for's. That makes it easier to set your expectations appropriately and avoid the unpleasant disappointment. But, how?

I had not considered the notion that muses had doppelgangers! Were I to embrace that assumption, it would go some distance towards explaining the mixed messages that torment my stream of consciousness. I like it. There is a cold elegance in the idea of sedating your artistic muse (laudanum...now that's some Old School shit) and walking the wild side with your Dark Angel. As you (rightfully) point out, the forecast would be for pain. But it would be a delicious *bad love* sort of pain.
