An incredible amount of our individual success or failure in life's many pursuits comes down to timing. Landing the great job you've been dreaming of, is often only possible if there is an opening when you are available to apply. Moving to the neighborhood you really want to live in is only possible if there is a property on the market at the exact time when you are ready and able to move. In my experience, relationships often come down to timing too. Who is around and available at the moment you are ready for commitment? That often makes the biggest difference in who gets together with whom for the long term. Availability and timing. Where were you when you were ready, what did you like to do, who were your friends? So much of our romantic decisions are influenced by circumstances and timing, which we rarely figure into our own machinations....
