Can we make tea or coffee from woman's milk ?
This is the question always in my mind, can we...?? Let discuss about it friends... |

I think may be we can... but have no any practical experience. | ||

the woman would need pump for hot cocoa ...or being nursing at least 4 month old for that ....milk production is strictly an on demand thing . Now for coffee or tea remember her diet will change the taste and texture . And a woman can lactate as long as there is a demand .....the hormone being released with every let down reflex to produce more ......ie wet nurses of biblical times .

sugarplum - or hot chocolate would be a possiblity when she has just had a newborn and the milk first comes in. I always had way way too much milk initially and could have made hot chocolate for the whole family with what I had over!
Now though with only a husband to feed, a few teas or coffees and I'm done...!

But pumping after weaning ...does keep the supply up .. I agree sugarplum the consistnecy is differnet the first few weeks even - certainly very creamy and thick - much more yellow in colour. But we never had any problems with warming it - although obviously we never boiled it like you would for hot chocolate!
On about day 3 or 4 I would usually freeze about 12oz a day extra on average.
was not aware till now that you could just stimulate lactation without pregnancy hormones/supplements - all a learning experience on here.

Yes demon .... best examples are women who need to have surrogates to have a child ... they are encouraged to start nipple stimulation months prior to baby arriving as well as some herbs or supplements ..that can all be found on different sites reguarding lactation ... Most of the medications that can be used to induce milk production , have some side effects that should be taken very seriously .....most of the Herbs are cleansing herbs .
